Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Prathna Singh is a DHA-licensed Clinical Psychologist who supports children, young people and families with developmental, emotional, behavioural and learning concerns.
In addition to being licensed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), she is also licensed with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK and the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai.
Dr. Prathna has worked extensively with children and families across clinical, hospital and community health settings in South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. She holds a PhD in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
Her practice encompasses both psychological assessment and therapeutic support. She views assessment as an opportunity to develop a clear and meaningful picture of each child, bringing together their strengths, abilities, developmental profile and areas where they may benefit from support.
In her therapeutic work, Dr. Prathna supports children and young people in evidence-informed and developmentally sensitive ways, with support tailored to each child’s age, personality, communication style and individual needs.
Dr. Prathna recognises the important role parents and caregivers play in a child’s emotional wellbeing and includes parent-focused support and guidance as part of her work. She also works collaboratively with schools and other professionals involved in supporting children.
