Zerina graduated from the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa, with a BSc Honours in Occupational Therapy. She brings over 25 years of professional experience, having worked internationaIIy,incIuding in the UK, and has been practicing in Dubai since 2013.
Her expertise lies in supporting children facing a broad spectrum of developmental, sensory, motor, learning, and neurodevelopmental challenges. These include developmental delays, sensory processing differences,
motor coordination difficulties, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum
Disorders. As a certified fitness instructor, Zerina integrates principles of functional movement, strength, coordination, and body awareness into her OT programmes, helping children build confidence and foundational motor skills in a playful, purposeful manner.
